Civil & Railway Engineering

Works Infrastructure helps maintain and improve rail structures and property across the UK’s rail network and beyond. We have held a civils framework agreement for Network Rail’s London North East territory for over 10 years and have recently been awarded the equivalent framework for the London North West territory.

We offer a diverse range of capabilities for the maintenance of structures such as tunnels, bridges and viaducts, including:

•  Bridge strengthening
•  Embankment stabilisation
•  Brickwork repairs 
•  Steelworks repairs

Additionally, we offer a complete ‘design and build’ service for a wide range of structures, using our in-house team of mechanical and civil design engineers. This enables us to take a project from early feasibility, through Form A and Form B design (outline and detailed design), to planning and delivery.

Property Maintenance

Works Infrastructure has been one of Network Rail’s property maintenance contractors for the London North East territory for the last three years, and has recently been awarded the London North West territory. The contracts cover the maintenance of all types of railway property, from stations to signal boxes and depots, including
the provision of a 24-hour emergency response team.

Vegetation Management

Works Infrastructure provides a comprehensive vegetation management service, covering everything from chemical weed control to tree surgery and felling. Our operatives have the expertise and qualifications for scrub and brush removal, mechanical site clearance and felling. We also employ strimmer and chipper operatives along with cutting-edge equipment.
